Accurate, TOR-compliant traffic, waterway and socio-economic survey data delivered for infrastructure planning projects across Eastern India — on time, every time.
Classified traffic counts, turning movement studies, O-D surveys, and speed/delay studies executed in compliance with IRC and MoRTH guidelines.
Specialist surveys for jetty infrastructure DPRs — passenger traffic, vehicle/cargo enumeration, Ro-Ro/Ro-Pax demand studies, and boarding-alighting counts.
Structured household surveys, stakeholder consultations, public consultation support, and socio-economic data collection for EIA/SIA components of DPRs.
We engage exclusively as a sub-consultant field execution partner — integrating seamlessly into the project structures of prime consultants and government project authorities.
Prime consultants engaged on government DPR and feasibility assignments requiring specialist field data.
Project teams requiring structured field data in government-mandated formats for DPR preparation.
Construction firms requiring pre-construction traffic studies, environmental baseline surveys, or impact assessments.
Direct engagement with state PSUs and central authorities for field survey components on public infrastructure projects.
Our two-page capability statement provides a structured summary of Trivaha's survey verticals, field experience, compliance standards, registration details, and engagement process — designed for prime consultant evaluation.

Trivaha Engineering Services is a survey and field-data support firm specialising in traffic, transport, and socio-economic studies required for infrastructure planning and DPR preparation. We assist consulting engineers and project authorities by delivering accurate, structured, and policy-compliant survey data.
Trivaha functions as a specialist field execution sub-consultant. We do not bid on government tenders directly. Instead, we integrate into the project structures of prime consultants as the dedicated field arm — delivering the ground-level survey data that DPRs are built on.
This focus means that every process, every format, and every team protocol is calibrated to one purpose: delivering TOR-compliant field data on time, in the structure the reporting team needs.
Every survey is scoped and executed with the project's Terms of Reference as the primary reference. Survey design, team structure, data formats, and reporting are all aligned to what the prime consultant and project authority require — not a standard template.
Eastern India presents distinct logistical challenges — tidal access, remote ghat locations, seasonal constraints. Our teams are built around this terrain, with enumerators who understand the geography and the communities they survey.
Field data is only as good as the supervision behind it. Every survey team operates under a trained supervisor with daily quality checks. Data is compiled progressively — not rushed at deadline — to ensure the reporting team receives clean, usable outputs.
Trivaha Engineering Services is a registered partnership firm with active MSME / Udyam status.

All survey scopes are finalised strictly as per the project ToR. We deliver structured, government-compliant data — not generic survey reports.
We conduct primary traffic data collection for highway, bridge, and intersection DPRs in formats compliant with IRC guidelines and MoRTH data requirements. All count data is collected by trained, supervised enumerators using structured data sheets — not estimates.
Manual and assisted classified counts at key locations; vehicle-class wise; AM/PM peak capture; 7-day and 24-hour survey designs.
Multi-approach intersection counts; approach-wise vehicle classification; conflict point data for junction design.
Roadside interview methodology; trip purpose, origin zone, and destination zone data; matrix compilation for demand modelling.
Moving-car observer method; spot speed studies; road segment delay analysis; travel time data for LOS assessment.
Boarding-alighting counts at existing jetty facilities; peak and off-peak period analysis; seasonality capture. Executed across 20+ ghat locations on the NW-1 corridor (Noorpur to Sahibganj) under IWAI and state PSU programmes — including tidal-access and remote riverine sites.
Vehicle and cargo enumeration at ferry crossing points; willingness-to-use structured interviews; O-D for waterway corridors.
Operational pattern documentation at existing terminals; dwell time analysis; cargo type and volume estimation.
First / last mile transport mode survey at terminal approaches; pedestrian access pattern mapping.
Our deepest area of specialisation. Trivaha has 4+ years of on-field experience across the entire NW-1 jetty corridor from Noorpur to Sahibganj, West Bengal — delivered across two separate government projects (IWAI JMVP 2 Arth Ganga and WBTIDCL Safety Action Plan). This gives us direct, ground-level understanding of tidal access constraints, ghat-level logistics, jetty survey operations, and IWAI data requirements that most survey firms do not have.
Structured primary data collection for the environmental and social components of DPR assignments. We conduct household surveys, stakeholder mapping, and public consultation events following government consultation protocols and SIA/EIA ToR requirements.
Structured questionnaire-based interviews with project-affected household clusters; income, livelihood, and land-use data collection.
Primary and secondary stakeholder identification, FGD facilitation, and consultation record documentation. Conducted with riverine communities, ferry operators, ghat workers, and local administration in and around the NW-1 corridor under government DPR programmes.
Event coordination, minute documentation, objection/suggestion capture, and photographic documentation.
Commercial zone enumeration, trader interviews, and commodity flow data for project influence area assessment.

A rigorous, repeatable process — calibrated to each project's ToR, not a generic template.
Before any field mobilisation, the project ToR is reviewed in full to extract the exact survey scope, data formats, sample sizes, and reporting requirements. A customised Field Survey Plan is prepared and agreed with the prime consultant.
Enumerators and supervisors are recruited from or near the project area to reduce logistics cost and maximise local familiarity. A structured pre-survey briefing is conducted covering data quality standards, survey protocols, and data sheet completion.
Field surveys are executed under continuous supervisory oversight. Data sheets are checked daily. Any gaps, inconsistencies, or access issues are flagged immediately — not discovered at compilation. The project manager remains reachable to the prime consultant throughout.
Field data is compiled progressively — not in a single end-of-project rush. Each location's data is entered, checked, and cross-validated before the next location is compiled. Final outputs are formatted exactly to the prime's reporting requirements.
Compiled data is submitted to the prime consultant with a field summary note covering survey conditions, any deviations from the FSP, and QC documentation. We remain available for clarifications, reanalysis requests, or additional location surveys within the project period.

Framed from the perspective of the prime consultant — because that is the question that matters.
"I need 10 days of traffic data from 8 locations in remote West Bengal and Assam — correct format, supervised, on time — and I cannot afford to manage 30 enumerators from my Delhi office."
That is exactly what Trivaha solves.
Our teams are based in the project area, not dispatched from a metro office. This means lower logistics cost, faster mobilisation, and enumerators who understand the terrain, language, and community — critical for quality household and stakeholder surveys.
Every survey design begins with the project ToR, not a standard checklist. Data sheet formats, count durations, vehicle classifications, and reporting tables are customised to what the prime's report actually requires — reducing revision cycles after delivery.
4+ years of on-field experience across the full NW-1 jetty corridor from Noorpur to Sahibganj, West Bengal — delivered across two government projects (IWAI JMVP 2 Arth Ganga and WBTIDCL Safety Action Plan). Jetty traffic surveys, boarding-alighting counts, and stakeholder consultations with riverine communities in and around NW-1 are core to our field record — not incidental assignments.
Trivaha's experience is anchored in government-funded infrastructure DPR projects — not corporate or private sector studies. Our enumerators, supervisors, and protocols are calibrated to the rigour and documentation standards that government project authorities expect.
We can deploy simultaneously across multiple locations within a project corridor — including remote, low-connectivity areas such as island communities, tidal ghats, and interior districts. 72-hour mobilisation from engagement confirmation is standard.
Trivaha's MSME status simplifies sub-consultant onboarding for prime consultants and project authorities. We issue proper invoices, maintain compliance documentation, and provide experience references on request — reducing administrative overhead for the prime.
